“Memories of Nature” Ryoko Kaneta’s Solo Exhibition Hosted by Maison JE

Maison JE Bangkok is delighted to present “Memories of Nature,” a special solo exhibition by Ryoko Kaneta, a Japanese artist signed by HRD Artist Label. This exhibition invites you to immerse yourself in a world of culture and nature through artworks rich in color and intricate detail. The exhibition will be open from August 2 to 31, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

In the “Memories of Nature,” audiences will encounter vibrant and eye-catching artworks that highlight the pieces offer narratives of similarities and differences in Asian landscapes, presenting stories from new perspectives and blending the natural charm of Japan and Thailand. 

Ryoko Kaneta’s works are inspired by Japanese myths and folklore, featuring vibrant young female characters and beautiful natural elements. The artworks not only create a warm and enchanting atmosphere but also present complex and profound stories by integrating Eastern culture with contemporary imagination, seamlessly blending the past and present.

Additionally, the exhibition will feature the ‘Mt. Fuji with Cherry Blossom’ limited edition sculpture, a special creation by Ryoko Kaneta in collaboration with Maison JE Bangkok. Exclusive souvenirs will also be available for purchase, with each piece reflecting the artist’s meticulous creativity, offering visitors a chance to connect with her artistic realm.

About Ryoko Kaneta

Born in 1991 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, and graduated from Yokohama University of Art and Design in 2014. Her artworks express themes of local Japanese myths, blending Eastern culture, natural phenomena, and knowledge beyond human comprehension, including the presence of elegant gods. With vivid colors and delicate young girl characters and her works evoke a warm and inviting atmosphere.
